Travelling through France - what do I need?

• Where do we apply for a temporary residence permit to travel throughout francefor up to 1 year.

• Depends on where you are from

  What sort of papers you need depends on where you are from. If you are a EU citizen and intend to be just travelling around France as a tourist then you don't really need to get a residency permit.
  
  If you are not a EU resident then you may need to get a visa and then a carte de sejour. The carte de sejour can be applied for at the local marie to your residence in France.
