• It would help if you knew which bank it was. If you know that, you could go to a branch office with a proof of identity and it should not be a problem. The big ones thirty years ago were: Union Bank of Switzerland/Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft, Kreditanstalt/Credit Suisse, Swiss Banking Corporation(SBC)/Schweizerischer Bankverein, plus private banks like Sarasin, Pictet, Julius Bär.
